Mugshot SMIRK by Teruul Mugshot SMIRK by Teruul
Heheheheh, this idea came to me after a reader of Race for One Piece left me a review saying that, "Your cliffhangers should be punishable by arrest and prison!". That up there would be me, all badass, taking my mugshot for prison : D I'm not narcissistic at all.

/sarcasm.

I feel like I'm getting better and better at using my markers. The coloring of the skin becomes better with every drawing, so I'm all excited about improving!

Tools used;
Neopiko Black Liners
Copic Ciao Markers
Photoshop CS5 for editing

Uhm, to all those waiting for their commissions, fret not, I have not forgotten about you! I'm just in the middle of my final exams right now, so apart from sketching (and this) I really don't have time to draw that much. But they'll pop up before long, trust me!

This is so cool :D

The way you draw the eyes seriously are so cool they remind me of Law's.

The shading is THE best ever :D

Hi, sorry for the VERY late reply, I've been out of town for a bit over a week ;P

Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it! :D I used 4 different markers to do the skin and the shading, so I'm glad it paid off ;)

Thank you so much! Indeed, I spent over three hours coloring this all together :)

You use just regular markers? Like, the washable kind?

I use Copic and Copic Ciao Markers, I think they're alcohol-based. To get the colors to blend neatly, like with how the skin is colored, I use a "transparent" marker, the Colorless Blender to first soak the paper, then I quickly color the lightest hue, then soak it again, then add darker hues, then soak it again. That's why it takes so long to color my pictures :) Oh, and I use a kind of paper that's meant solely for the use of alcohol-based markers, so it's able to withstand all layers.
